Last year before Comic Con San Diego I was desperately trying to come up with ideas for short four or five page comics that I could use for my portfolio. This is one of the first sketches I came up with for a comic involving a guy exploring some fantasy world, collecting Butterflies. It wasn’t going to have any dialogue, it would just be an outsider’s view of this guy’s travels, as the reader tries to figure out why he cares so damn much about these butterflies.

I only actually finished one page of the comic, which I will probably post tomorrow. I may pick it up again, as the story still interests me, but at the moment I have more pressing things on my ‘to do list’.
