Free….is good!
I own a Mac. I like my Mac. I, however, have never become a ‘zealot’ like the many frothing fan-boys you see on the various “Steve Jobs is the second coming” websites. One of the reasons for my lack of involvement in the cult of the Apple is the Indy Game scene. 99 out of 100 times, when someone creates a particularly interesting freeware, independent game that is released online, it is only released for the PC. I’ve come to accept it, but it also one of the reasons I keep trolling the PC laptop isle at Best Buy.
This is all a very long winded way of introducing 1up.com’s…
I haven’t had time to sift through the whole list but there are already some really interesting games in there, and as previously mentioned, they are free. They are also conveniently organized by genre, so if you are looking for the next Tetris, click on ‘Puzzle’ and away you go. Enjoy!

Your correct use of “however” as a postpositive conjunction made my evening.

I am odd like that. I’ll write something complicated correctly, and then I will turn around and completely screw up the placement of a semi-colon or misspell sentance (occasionally intentionally).
I actually ran a search of ‘postpositive conjunction” through google and found mostly pages about Latin or the Bible. This is probably why I haven’t heard the term before.
