7 Sad years ago I voted for George W. Bush. I was young and stupid. All my friends were doing it, so I went conservative for a day. I have a heavy penance to pay.

All joking aside, I really believe Barack Obama is the right man for the job. It is true that the other candidates leave me shivering with fear, but Obama is not my last resort. I can’t speak to it any better than any of the other op-eds and endorsements of recent days, very simply it is a feeling of pride in a politician again. The ability to vote for someone I trust and admire is an experience I haven’t had yet. I’m excited to see what it’s like.

Also Wil Wheaton and Randall Munroe have endorsed the man, he’s got the Geek voted locked up!
