Improv Everywhere is a very cool group, website, anarchistic collective that is dedicated to causing scenes and making people think.

The latest mission involved over 200 agents who all froze in place for exactly five minutes in Grand Central Station in New York City. The effect is amazing, just watch.

If you have time you should really check out the rest of the site, there are some truly ingenious pranks in there. One of my favorites is a live reading at Barnes and Noble by none other than Anton Chekhov. The more astute among you may have realized that Chekhov died in 1904. Not too many people at Barnes and Noble noticed.
