I found an article through Digg about this amazing town in Nicaragua that was literally built on the hundreds of bags of cocaine that continually wash up onshore. It would seem that Columbian drug runners are constantly forced to drop ‘cargo’ overboard as they race against US spy planes in their noble attempt to give American consumers what they want. A fisherman can go to the shore, find one of these bags, and suddenly be $100,000 richer in an instant.
