Nearly a month late

The new site is up! There is still much to do. The Interactive section hasnt been finished yet, I was having some problems getting new popup windows to work over all the OS's and different browsers. The design of the site may change slightly as I tweak different areas, but I am generally happy with the way it turned out.

I know the 112 project is behind. Hopefully now I'll have time to get it back on track, but I have to hurry because I am running out of days. I figure if I can get two or three done a day I should be back up speed in a week or so.

Well I have to go work...being that I'm at work. Hope everyone is enjoying the Spring/Summer/Fall weather we've been having lately.

Where is the art? There should be art...

At work today the teacher assigned a writing project to research different kinds of blogs on the internet. One of the students asked if they could write up mine, and then I realized that for an art blog, there hasn't been a whole lot of art on here. So I finished up another Shaun of the Dead illustration earlier tonight and I figured Id post that, it may not actually be a sketch, but what the heck.



You may have noticed a number of Star Wars illustrations on the 112 project. I've been doing alot of stuff for the Drawing Board , including the Star Wars pics and this Shaun of the Dead piece. I've been working on a couple or pieces a day to try and get the 112 project back up to date. I'm going to start working on those "friends" pieces soon. I got Tim's done today and hopefully I can get a few more done tomorrow. If anyone has pictures of themselves that are particularly embarrassing, please send them to me so I can immortalize you in your stupidity.

Hate em, Hate em, Hate em.

I absolutely despise 96.3 DVD. The name alone is now reason enough to hate it, but lately things have been getting worse. The other day I actually heard this...."And that was 'Somebody Told Me' the new one by the Killers. They sound like they're from the eighties but they're not" I dont like to swear to much on this blog, but seriously, WHAT THE FUCK!? First off, 'Somebody Told Me' is like a year old. Second, "they sound like they're from the eighties but they're not", is the kind of musical review you would expect from your 10 year old cousin trying to be cool, not a man paid to play musical selections and discuss them on the radio. That station has been going downhill since the name change from 'The Planet'. The music selection is so whimpy it is just asking to be beat up by the other radio stations. I used to have it next to 89X on my presets, but 89X kept stealing 96.3's lunch money and then proceeded to laugh as 96.3 ran to tell the lunch lady. Right now 96.3 is next to 95.5, which is apparently ..."now a rap station"...so Im just waiting for a hate crime. I dont think I've ever heard a radio station openly attack another, you dont even see that kind of stuff on TV.

Alright, I just needed to vent. So please, boycott 96.3, maybe someone will buy it and turn it into a jazz station or something.
