Get off me lawn ye scamps!
I really should be posting this in the 112 section to get it finished up, but I decided I needed more art in the art blog. Plus I feel the need to keep this updated. Here's another Illustration for the portfolio. I should be ready to start shipping it out to studios pretty soon.
For those of you who care, Thanksgiving was nice. Family, food, things of this nature. Nothing particularly spectacular.
I really dont have much to say at the moment. It is snowing out, and I love snow early in the season. By January I'm usually done with the stuff, but at the moment it still holds a certain charm. Everything is white. You can run down the sidewalk with a bit of a buzz and slide on the fresh powder. And even at 5 in the morning, the world has this nice glow to it. I'm trying to get into the Christmas thing early this year, because lately it seems as if it is over the second I realize it's begun. Im going to go out and pick up a fake five foot tree for my room with white lights. Ima force the spirit into me whether it wants to or not. I'm sure once the spirit gets inside of me it will find a nice, warm place to live with plenty of snacks and some decent jazz with which to get down.
I also plan on sending out Christmas cards this year, so Im going to need real life street addresses. Email them baby! And yes, the cards were designed by me. So you know they'll be spiffy.

Late night before Election Day
Hey, guess who can't sleep.
For those of you who don't know, my sister has a big, senior year, all star, uber recital coming up in a week or so. I designed the posters for it like a good older brother who went to art school and is currently unemployed. I really liked the way the posters came out, but instead of posting that design, Ive decided to post the new one I worked up tonight using most of the same imagery. The poster I had to change a bit because Catherine is a cruel task master who likes things her way, that and so people could read the thing. This design is completely unedited, so HA!
Also, thanks to everyone who wished me well on my Birthday, and especially Tim and Molly who hung out with me over the weekend. "Birthday Pat" can now be put away for an entire year, everyone can stop paying attention to me again, I like it much better that way.
