Spit and Polish!

Holy Cow! Everything's weird looking!

I finally got off my duff and redesigned the blog. For as long as I have been using the blog I have been using one of the default layout styles. I never liked the fact that it had a different design from the rest of the site, so I decided to try and fix that. What started as an experiment at work ended up taking about 6 hours of uploading and tweaking and pixel pushing. All in all I like the way it turned out. I may not tomorrow, but at the moment, I am happy.

And since I hate posting in the art blog without posting art, here is a new design I just finished up this evening. It was originally going to be for the 112 project until I realized it really doesn't qualify as an illustration, so Im posting it here.

Finally, last and least, if you have the chance, go see "Little Miss Sunshine". It was excellent.

New and Marginally Improved

News from the world of patguarino dot com. I'll bet you're excited, I know I am! See, the exclamation point proves it.

The 112 Project

That's right, it's still alive and kicking. Sort of. I've decided to finally finish up this project that has been hanging around for well over a year longer than it was supposed to. While I cannot guarantee a new illustration every day like in the past, I do hope to finish off atleast three or four a week. Work is finally calming down a bit, so I may actually have time to accomplish this. Here's hoping.

A New Daily Project

I'm not going to say much about this now, partially to get people curious and excited, and partially because if I don't ever get around to it, I never really promised it in the first place. You see how my mind works? I definately don't plan on starting on it until the 112 Project is completely finished. I believe in only leaving one project half finished at a time.

The RSS Feed

Those of you who are familiar with RSS feeds know how convienent they are. Well patguarino dot com has finally moved into the exciting world of 2003 with it's own RSS feed. The file is located here. Finally an easy way to know when the site is updated without even visiting the site! This is a great day for the lazy. I know some web browsers have built in RSS support, others dont. If anyone runs into trouble setting up the RSS feed, feel free to email me for help.

That's about it for the moment. New and exciting things are happening, and you know you want to be a part of it. Thanks for stopping by.
